Morbark 75” 3-knife chipper with sub base, motor rails, drive guard no motors.
There is a belt running from under the chipper through to the chip screen then a small belt out from under the screen to stockpile.
A belt waste conveyor runs full length from under entry to chipper, back under the infeed, debarker and debarker infeed.
The electric drive motors are missing from the chipper, the chip screen needs a full rebuild and there is no rechipper.
As mentioned above the chipper drive motors are not available, the rest of the motors are intact, maybe one gearbox missing from the waste conveyor.
There is no MCC or electrical control and no operator’s cabin / log crane or excavator at chipper entry.
Most of this equipment, Morbark NZ designed and manufactured new in 2011, the customer had a refurbished drum debarker and a used chip screen and the waste conveyors.
Morbark NZ built a new debarker infeed, debarker outfeed and supplied a new chipper mounted on a subbase, the plant ran for 2-3 weeks then was mothballed, so the new equipment has only worked for an estimated 100hrs and has sat outside in the weather since, although a lot of surface rust and paint missing equipment is in very good condition.
Pricing will depend on the level of refurbishment required for the plant or if the buyer would prefer new or existing components.
We have a few options available, however our preferred option at present is to not break up and sell off in component form but to offer as a complete plant, ready to produce quality clean wood chips. The used equipment to be fully refurbished. Missing equipment would be either manufactured new or utilise rebuilt stock components we carry to complete this proposal.
